Graphic Design

Graphic design is the craft of creating visual content to communicate messages. Applying visual hierarchy and page layout techniques, graphic designers use typography and pictures to meet users’ specific needs and focus on the logic of displaying elements in interactive designs to optimize the user experience.

“Design is intelligence made visible”  –  Alina Wheeler

“Actions speak louder than words” where action being the non-verbal communication. Who wants to read text only? Pictures and Diagrams sound much simpler; what attracts you first in a newspaper; the picture or the title? If you use any visual medium at all-if you make a poster; type a letter; create a business logo, a magazine ad, or an album cover; even make a computer printout-you are using a form of visual communication called graphic design. Which touchpoint of your brand does your customer encounter first? A name, a sound, a color? Believe it or not, they are all part of your brand identity. A good design is a brand made tangible: it’s bought, sold, eaten, worn, heard, held, and bought again.
